UPTET 2018 Results are Out!

The wait is finally over! The UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018 results are out on the official website of Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) at upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

The examination was conducted successfully on November 18, 2018. The doors for new recruitments have been opened. According to a report, out of 1101645 candidates, 366285 candidates have qualified the examination.

Candidates have been requested to apply for the fresh teacher vacancies announced by UPBEB at on their official website. UPBEB had also announced to fill 69,000 Assistant Teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have qualified the examination can apply for the same. The UPBEB examination for the post of Assistant Teacher will be conducted on January 06, 2018 from 11 am to 2.30pm. The examination shall be conducted using OMR sheet to avoid confusions and problems during checking.

What about the salary structure?

UPTET 2018 qualified candidates who will be appointed as Assistant Teacher will be paid on the basis of the seventh pay commission. And they can teach up to Class 5. The pay scale for Assistant Teacher is Rs 9,300-34,800 (rural areas) and Rs 9,300-34,800 (urban areas). The total gross salary is expected to be Rs 38864 - Rs 41064.
