In an attempt to appeal to the general masses to stay at home and stay safe during the COVID-19 crisis, several innovative ideas are emerging. From memes, funny videos to posters and even engaging advertisements, the internet is full of them already.
Recently, a bunch of students from Jaipur, Rajasthan, shared an adorable video with Team ScooNews in which they can be seen performing a skit requesting people to take care of themselves by staying home during the lockdown. What we admire is their sincere efforts to cheer others even when they’re surrounded with gloominess themselves. We totally think you should check out this informative video that’s made with pure intention and is loaded with a lot of cuteness.
BTW, this is a home-production that was recorded at the individual actor's home, strictly following the rule of social distancing.
Once upon a time, a group of teenagers get very bored and unhappy about being locked inside their homes in order to protect themselves and their families from the deadly Coronavirus outbreak. But a sliver of hope hits them when they hear about their respective school’s online classes starting soon.
Alas, even the new trend of virtual learning fails to entertain their fluttering little hearts for long. Soon, they start losing interest because of the lack of proper mental involvement in the lessons.
As a result, they find themselves looking for trouble every now and then, especially when the online classes are going on. While someone is playing music in the background, others are scribbling on the screen for everyone else to see. In fact, a few are caught dreaming about the next food item they wish to relish. If this isn't enough already, some brave ones even decide to completely disappear from the conference call!
All the teen kids are afflicted with an abundance of boredom while sitting at home, not engaging with others, not being able to go out.
However, even in the midst of looking for interesting things to do (other than studying), they are wise enough to understand that the right thing to do is to maintain social distance and not go out to see their friends.
As the video comes to an end, the children give their viewers a beautiful message by saying - “If we can stay at home, why can't you? Stay home; stay safe.”
ScooNews thinks this video is a lovely way of demonstrating concern for the society.
Now, let’s hear from the crew. Our team approached the little actors and the makers of this short film. Pallavi Jain, one of the producers/directors, tells ScooNews, “The inspiration behind this video was a clip of the most famous public figures at their homes doing a little skit. The moment we saw that video, we just knew we wanted to do something similar to encourage our friends and relatives.”
Others in the team of producers/directors are Apoorv Jain, Amit Dogra, Bahul Chandra, Reecha Chandra, Suruchi Bhargava, Rachna Jain, Reenu Jain.
“We had a ball of a time making and editing the clips and turning them into this fun video. Thank god, we could finally make some good use of the time during this lockdown,” she adds.
The skit is written by her daughter, Avani Jain, who is one of the actors seen in the clip. Others are Ayati Jain, Shaurya Chandra, Kashvi Chandra, Arnav Bhargava, Aaditya Dogra, Aarav Bhargava, Arjun Dogra, Krishank Jain, and Eklavya Jain.
The sentiments and motivation behind the video are highly exemplary as it gives a strong message to the general public. Not to forget the charming performances of each child!
Wondering what the little talents have to say? Here you go -
“We just want to tell everyone that we all in this together and collectively, we can go through it. It is better not to take this lockdown negatively as if we are STUCK at home but, take it positively because we are SAFE at home. It is also essential for all of us to make proper and fruitful use of the time. Learn something new, cook, bake, read, exercise, meditate to feel refreshed and relaxed.”
